  • Life In Voices is a voice recording service that helps families preserve the stories, memories and life lessons of their loved ones.

    You can choose between our year-long storytelling journey, where a new question is delivered each week, or The Story Session, a guided storytelling experience designed to be completed in a single sitting.

    Simply Click the recording link inside the email, submit the recording and it will be securely saved and delivered to your nominated person/s.

  • Each question is emailed once a week. The email includes the week’s question and a simple “Start Recording” button — no app or login required.

  • Nope! No apps, no login, no complicated tech. Just one click to record directly from the weekly email.

  • Yes. You can request a sample question pack when you sign up.

  • Yes. The system is designed for simplicity. Just one email, a few buttons to press, and their voice is captured — no typing required.

  • No problem — they can catch up anytime. We keep all their questions accessible for the duration of the service.

  • Recordings are securely stored in a dedicated online folder. Once a recording has been submitted, nominated recipients will receive a private link giving them access to the Story Session folder, where they can listen to and download recordings at any time.

    For Life in Voices packages, recordings are also included in quarterly summary emails and can optionally be provided on a USB.

  • Yes! They’re yours to keep, download, and share with family. In fact, please do as we only keep recordings on file for 1 year.

  • Once a recording has been shared, you'll receive a private link to access the Story Session folder. Simply open the link from any device to listen to the recordings.

    To download a recording, open the folder, select the recording you'd like to keep, and choose Download.

  • Absolutely — it makes a meaningful gift for a parent or grandparent. You can even have the first email arrive on a birthday or special occasion.

  • Yes, just select the 'Personal Legacy' upon checkout — perfect for personalising the experience.

  • Yes. Your recordings are not publicly searchable and are only accessible via a private link shared with you and any recipients you nominate.

    Life in Voices will never make your recordings public or share them with anyone without your permission. We recommend only sharing your recording links with people you trust.

  • We store your recordings for 12 months after your last question. After that, they’re permanently deleted unless you request early deletion.

  • Yes of course, you can save your recordings and choose to share them as a gift whenever you wish — simply don’t add any recipients, and all recordings will be sent directly to you.

  • Yes. You can nominate up to four recipients to receive recordings, summary emails and storybooks throughout the journey.

  • No. Recordings are stored exactly as they were recorded. We do not edit, rewrite or alter your loved one's words.
